  • Spring Season Cancelled

    The NJCAA and its Board of Presidents and Trustees have followed other professional and collegiate organizations and decided to cancel the remaining season for all spring sports. The NJCAA cited recommendations from the Center of Disease Control when making this decision. This ruling, effective immediately, cancels all competition (both regular and postseason), practice and national championship play.

  • Harris Honored at Baseball Home Opener

    riday’s home opener had special significance for St Pete College as former baseball standout Dustin Harris was honored before the game. Harris was honored by the National Junior College Athletic Association and the American Baseball Coaches Association as a first team All-American selection for the 2019 season- joining Tim Tuefel and Bobby Wilson as the only members selected for this honor in the program’s 67 year history.

    This week was an exciting one to be a SPC Lady Titan! In the span of a five day period the Lady Titan softball team won four post season games in a row, won the Suncoast conference tournament playoff, qualified for the FCSAA state tournament, had a college RBI record broken and placed seven players on the All-conference team.

  • Titan Strong Volleyball qualifies for the national tournament, finishes third in the State

    The SPC Titan women's volleyball team finished third in the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) state volleyball tournament held in Bradenton Nov. 3-5. The Titans, ranked 11th in the country, now head to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division 1 tournament, for the first time in college history. The tournament starts Thursday, Nov. 16 in Kansas.

  • Titans Strong Fishing Tournament Raises Funds for Athletics

    The inaugural Titan Strong Fishing Tournament, with all proceeds benefiting athletics at St. Petersburg College, set sail from Hubbard’s Marina in Madeira Beach, Florida on August 26.  Captain Hubbard took 44 proud Titans fans nine miles off shore for a fantastic day of fishing. Hubbard’s Marina provided rod, reel, tackle and a delicious boxed lunch. The winner of the  first Titan Strong Fishing Tournament was Bradley Krupp, he won a combo rod and reel for catching a 25 and a half inch grouper. Ramon Hernandez took second place, he won a brand new Calcutta cooler.
