Chris Smith is in his second year with the Titan program. After his first year as hitting coach and lead offensive coach the Titans saw the development of Five All Suncoast Conference players in 1st Team: Diamond Johnson, Gavin Garay, Chris Busch and Trevor Jensen. 2nd Team: Trenton McGhee. 

As a team the Titans led the state in stolen bases at 150. The Titan offense were top 10 in the state in Runs, Hits, doubles, RBI's, and walks.

Coach Smith guided Gavin Garay after transferring from St. Johns University (NY) to a 1st All-Conference selection with a .357 BA, 40 RBI's and 5 HR's and also being selected in the 26th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the New York Mets.

Trevor Jensen also improved under the guidance of Coach Smith with receiving Suncoast Conference Player of the Year by hitting .374 with 5 HR's and 51 RBI's. While also tutoring the states top base stealing threat in Diamond Johnson with 41 stolen bases.


This past summer of 2017 Chris spent his time in the Northwoods League as an Assitant Coach for the Wisconsin Woodchucks where he tutored catchers, outfielders and hitters.


In 2016 with College of Central Florida serving as outfield coordinator and assisting with hitters. Coach Smith helped develop four All Mid-Florida Conferene players in BJ Harmon, Luke Heyer, Bradley Felkel and John Cassala.

A graduate of NCAA Division 1 Wagner College in Staten Island, New York.  Chris came just short of the Triple Crown for the school leading the team in batting average, home runs, and slugging percentage.  In his junior and senior years he was selected All-Northeast Conference after transferring from Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa.

During the 2015 & 2016 summers, Smith also served as fielder manager in the Atlantic Collegiate Baseball League for the North Jersey Eagles whom which he played for in 2012 & 2013 where he won back to back championships.

Chris will serve as the Recruiting Coordinator/Hitting Coach and Outfield Coordinator while also leading the offense for the Titans for the 2017-2018 season.
