Volleyball signs international setter

St. Petersburg College's women's volleyball team signs a player from Italy. "We are excited to have Chiara Castiglioni join the program next year to enhance our setting and ball control. Setters in volleyball are like quarterbacks in football, so having a skilled setter is a big asset. Chiara comes from Italy where volleyball is extremely strong and she brings a rich training background with her" said Coach White.

SPC Volleyball has a rich tradition of international players. Through the years, the team has had players from over 10 different countries; however, this is the first time a player from Italy has been signed. With Kiara Rivera, an All-Conference setter, returning and the signing of Chiara, our Titans will have some depth at this position.

Go Titans!
