SPC Baseball Fall Versus Patriots

In what was a busy day for the St. Petersburg College Titans, the Titans baseball fell short of comeback by the final score of 11-10 Wednesday afternoon. The Titans (5-7) scored 4 runs in the 9th to tie but couldn't overcome the Patriots offense which scored 6 runs in the 6th. Freshman shortstop Jake Mummau led the team in runs for the afternoon with 3 followed by Freshman centerfielder Logan Sanders who scored 2. With 42 at bats the Titans produced 10 runs off 14 hits with 7 RBI's on the afternoon. The Titans are back in action at Jack Russell on Saturday, February 19th when they host the Saints of Santa Fe College. First pitch versus Santa Fe is set for 1pm and admission is free to the public.
