Titans Rally To Stun The Saints

In what was a nail bitter right to the end, the Titans of St. Petersburg College mounted a tremendous comeback to beat the Saints of Santa Fe College 63-60. The game was back and forth from the beginning and Titans (8-13) fought right down to the final second. Freshman Kobe Gibbs made the game winning shot with under 10 seconds left in regulation. Freshman Zane Nelson lead the team in points scoring 18 on the night with Freshman Daquan Preston finishing second in points scored with 12. Nelson also lead the game with 6 rebounds followed by Freshman Frank Yetna and Frank Balingate who each had 5. The name of the rebound game was defense and the team had a combined 25 defensive rebounds. The Titans return to action Saturday, February 5th against Eastern Florida State in a Titans vs Titans showdown. Tipoff is set for 4pm and takes place on the beautiful campus of St. Petersburg College-Gibbs. Admission is free for all SPC students, faculty & staff. All general admission is $5
