In what was a hard fought 2nd half it wasn't enough to overcome the odds as the Titans fall to the Eagles by the score of 85-79. The Titans (8-15) hung tough in the 2nd half only trailing the Eagles by 3 in points scored with SPC scoring 40 to Polk's 43. Freshman Zane Nelson led the team in time on the court (32) and points (25) followed by Sophomore JyriReese Yothers with (15) and Freshman Daquan Preston with (11). Sophomore Chris Peterson led the team in steals (4) and Freshman Frank Yetna with rebounds (9). The Titans are off today as they prepare for a showdown with the Falcons of Daytona State tomorrow with tipoff set for 4pm at SPC-Gibbs Gymnasium.
