St. Petersburg College Head Coach: Grace Richmeyer

Richmeyer joined SPC in 2023 to rebuild the program. In her second season (2024), Coach Grace Richmeyer created a significant impact earning a overall winning record (13-9), winning conference record (9-6), and a third place finish in the FCSAA DII Volleyball Championship. The 2024 season also brought historic wins over Indian River (x2) and first ever program win over Palm Beach. On her roster, athletes earned various accolades including members of the 25 Dig Club, FCSAA setter of the week (x2), All-Conference 1st and 2nd Team selections, and All-Tournament Team. The 2024 season was the winningest season in the DII era.

In the 2025 season, Richmeyer led the Titans to a 5th place finish in regular season play, highest place finish in DII era, with the program qualifying for the Sun-Lakes Conference post-season tournament for the 2nd time consecutively. This accomplishment was a first for the DII era. The season included a win over Division 1 Santa Fe College. Four athletes placed in top 10 Stat Leaders in Sun-Lakes conference, and 16 double-doubles were posted. Athletes earned several awards including FCSAA DII offensive Player of the Week, 1st Team All Sun-Lakes Conference, 2nd Team All-Conference (x2), 25 Dig Club, and All-FCSAA Team. The program ended the season placing 5th in the FCSAA DII Volleyball Championship, losing to #24 in the Nation Lake-Sumter State College.

Prior to SPC Richmeyer became the Assistant Indoor and Beach Volleyball Coach at St. Johns River State College in 2020, helping to coach the team to two winning seasons, including a 6th place National Ranking, an undefeated at home record, and the 2021 Sun-Lakes Conference Title. Richmeyer then went on to coach a winning season at Eckerd College (NCAA Division-II) as Assistant Indoor Volleyball Coach.

In Summer of 2024, Richmeyer earned her Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Business from St. Leo University.

Richmeyer also has experience coaching at Rockwood Thunder Volleyball Club (Missouri), which ranked 1st  in its region and 15th in the nation, and coached at OTVA after moving to Florida.

In her collegiate career, Richmeyer played volleyball at Bryant University (NCAA Division-I) as a middle blocker. During her 4 years in Rhode Island, Richmeyer ranked 5th in program career total blocks, won the 2018 Northeast Conference (NEC) Championship, was selected to the 2018 NEC All-Tournament Team, and appeared in the 2018 NCAA Tournament. Richmeyer also served on the Bryant University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

SPC is thrilled to continue seeing her talent on the coaching staff in her 4th season this fall!
