Chrissy Dushane was born and raised in Florida, and has been in the softball community since she was four years old. She graduated from Hernando High School in 2001 and went on to play softball her first two years at NJCAA Division I Pasco Hernando State College in New Port Richey, Florida. She was committed to transfer Nova Southeastern University as a RHP/SS, but an ACL injury ended her collegiate softball career NJCAA state championship tournament her sophomore year.
Coach Dushane decided to pursue her passion in coaching and became an assistant coach at Pasco Hernando State College for six years. During the collegiate coaching career, she managed an 18u travel team as well. Upon Head Coach Tom Ryan retirement from Pasco Hernando State College, Coach Dushane looked to continue her passion at another college program. She began her seventh year at St. Petersburg College as the pitching coach and is now goinng into her third year as part of the Titan staff.
